Marie-Louise Ekman is an artist and filmmaker who has worked in wide range of media and techniques, always unconventionally and challengingly. In 1984, she became Sweden’s first female professor in painting at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, where she was rector in 1999–2008. Today, Marie-Louise Ekman lives and works in Stockholm where she is Managing Director of the Royal Dramatic Theatre. Per Dahlström 2011
